Locals tell us that The Centurion is named after the Roman soldiers and that the pub is built on what used to be a Roman fort. Today we have modernised somewhat and the Premier Inn next door was the first eco-friendly hotel to be built by Whitbread! Close to Drayton Manor Park, Tamworth Indoor Snow Dome & Tamworth Castle, the Centurian serves up delicious, classic pub food. Our experienced & friendly team look after all of our guests like family - the management team have a combined 48 years service at The Centurion!
