With a few days off work and a chance to catch up with your loved ones around a table of tasty food - Easter is the perfect weekend for relaxing and celebrating. Many families have their own Easter traditions, but for us, it’s always about taking a moment together over Sunday Lunch.
Easter looks a little different this year; we won’t be able to cook our delicious Sunday Roast for your Easter family lunch. But, you and the family can still enjoy all of your favourite trimmings by following the tips below.
Parboil your potatoes and give them a gentle shake before adding to your tin for the perfect roasties with crispy edges
Save time on your Yorkshire Puddings and eliminate pesky lumps by using a blender to mix your batter. Problem solved!
Always bring the meat to room temperature before roasting in a preheated oven for an even cook.
If you’re pushed for time, you can prep vegetables ahead of time. Store peeled and chopped potatoes in water in the fridge.
Add garlic and herb butter to your vegetables to take them to the next level!
Make plenty! Leftover meat from a roast will make an excellent sandwich the next day, and if you’ve got roasties left, they make a great breakfast hash.
